What is targeted protein detection?

Targeted protein detection focuses on quantifying predefined sets of proteins with high specificity and sensitivity. This approach is particularly useful when studying known biomarkers, validating discovery findings, or monitoring specific biological processes.

Instrument access

Through partner access, OHMX.bio supports high-throughput targeted protein quantification using proximity extension assay technology. All panel sizes are available, from focused 48-target assays to >5000-target panels.

Available setups

Predefined Protein Panels
Covering a wide range of biological themes, including inflammation, oncology, neurology, and cardiometabolic health.

Multiplex Detection
Capable of quantifying hundreds to thousands of proteins from minimal sample input.

Sample types

Flexible sample input is supported, including serum, plasma, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), tissue lysates, and cell culture supernatants. For full preparation and submission guidelines, see sample requirements page.
